Even though our Sunday 10:30am Worship is traditional, we invite you come as you are. We want you to feel comfortable in our sanctuary, so you don't need to dress up unless you want to.

We also invite you to come and experience the presence of God through our incredible music ministry.

The members and friends of the Otterbein Church Family compose all walks of life - rural, business and professional.  Such diversity of people and backgrounds gives us a strong base with which to reach out into the Valley and community to witness for Jesus Christ. This is just the beginning!  We are passionate about reaching people for Christ!

 

Otterbein has been a part of the Harrisonburg community since 1894, and we are blessed to continue the legacy of faithful disciples we have inherited.

 

Our present building was constructed in 1918.  In the passing years through mergers of several denominations (United Brethren in Christ, Evangelical United Brethren and Methodist) we became a United Methodist Church in 1968.
