Otterbein United Methodist Church has a rich legacy of excellence in music. Glorifying God through worship has always been important in the life of the congregation.

Handbell Choir
Wednesdays - 6:00pm
In 1986, the glorious sound of bell music entered our sanctuary with investment in a four octave set of Shulmerich handbells. In later years this set was periodically added to, and the church now has a five octave set of handbells and handchimes which are rung by our Otterbein Chancel Ringers and Jubilate Bells (youth).

Countless members have been a part of Otterbein’s Music Ministry over the years through our children’s, youth, adult, and handbell choirs. Otterbein rejoices in the exceptional talents of our congregation and is filled with gratitude for those who have given of their time and musical gifts to glorify God.
Sanctuary Choir
Wednesdays - 7:15 pm
Our Sanctuary Choir leads us in worship each Sunday and looks forward to presenting major choral programs during the Christmas and Easter seasons. The choir enhances the worship each week by singing scripturally based anthems from a variety of genres including classical sacred, traditional hymns, gospel songs and spirituals.

College Chorale
A vital part of our church’s music ministry, Otterbein is proud to invest financially in college students attending local universities. In turn, we have been blessed and invigorated by their talents and participation in our choirs and worship. College Chorale Alumni hold a special place in the hearts of our church family and upon leaving Otterbein have continued using their talents in many ways including teaching music in schools and colleges, singing in opera companies, performing in Broadway shows, producing music, and conducting church choirs.
