
College Chorale
We are blessed each year with the talents of our Music Scholarship Students from James Madison University. We are happy to have them join our choir and share their many talents with us.

Ricky Goodwyn, Jr.
Ricky is from Carrollton, VA. He is pursuing his Master of Music degree with emphasis on Vocal Performance and Choral Conducting. Ricky is involved in choral ensembles on campus, performs in JMU opera productions, and is a Graduate Assistant in Alumni Relations. Ricky sang with the Otterbein College Chorale all four years of his undergraduate study. Currently in his fifth year, he is our longest singing student at Otterbein!

Lizzy Thomas
Lizzy is a senior Vocal Performance major from Fairfax, VA. She is a member of the JMU Chorale and The Madison Singers. Lizzy enjoys Harrisonburg's downtown, supporting many of the local restaurants and following local bands and night life.

Judd Blake
Judd is a senior Vocal Performance major from Hopewell, VA. He is a tenor in The Madison Singers, a member of Opera Theater, and a member of the JMU all-male a cappella group, Rescored. Judd works as a Resident Assistant at JMU. His hobbies include board games and video games.

Megan Humes
Megan is a senior from Annandale, VA majoring in Vocal Music Education. She is currently student teaching at local schools in the Harrisonburg area. Megan enjoys all things Harry Potter and her favorite colors are mustard yellow and forest green.

Meghan Willey
Meghan is a native of Fairfax, Virginia. She is currently a senior majoring in Vocal Performance. At JMU she participates in Opera Theater and sings soprano in The Madison Singers. Meghan loves junior mints candy and popular standard American musicians like Johnny Mathis and Nat King Cole.

Marian Woodington
Marian is a senior from Midlothian, VA, majoring in Vocal Music Education. Marian is an outstanding alto and is a member of The Madison Singers and a student conductor for UCSA. Fun fact: Marian lives with her twin sister and their cats.

Darien Roby
Darien is junior from Alexandria, VA majoring in Vocal Performance. He is a member of JMU's Opera Theater and Chorale. His interests include Marvel Superheroes and skateboarding. He also plays the alto saxophone.

DeJuan Woods, Jr.
DeJuan is a junior from Waldorf, MD. He is majoring in Vocal Music Education and enjoys arranging music and a cappella music. DeJuan is a member of The Madison Singers, JMU Chorale, and a cappella group, Low Key.
