Otterbein has been a part of the Harrisonburg community since 1894. 

 

Our present building was constructed in 1918.  In the passing years through mergers of several denominations (United Brethren in Christ, Evangelical United Brethren and Methodist) we became a United Methodist Church in 1968.

 

The members and friends of the Otterbein Church Family compose all walks of life - rural, business and professional.  Such diversity of people and backgrounds gives us a strong base with which to reach out into the Valley and community to witness for Jesus Christ. This is just the beginning!  We are passionate about reaching people for Christ!
