Balance Class for Older Adults and/or Rehabilitation
10:30 - 11:00 am, Otterbein UMC Room 105
This class is for those seeking to practice basic exercises that contribute to overall balance and prevention of falls. Open to all.
Strength & Core Class
11:15 am - 12:15 pm, Otterbein UMC, Room 105
This class will utilize upper and lower body exercise bands (provided), along with core strengthening to the tunes of upbeat contemporary Christian music. You will receive a total body workout, complete with stretching and meditation at the end. Please bring a mat for floor exercises. Open to all.
Health & Wellness Group
12:30 - 1:30 pm, Otterbein UMC, Room 105
We will utilize the Duke Integrative Wheel of Health and discuss each component on the wheel and how it relates to our personal health. You will have the opportunity to create a goal for each component and an overall vision for your health and wellness. This will be a non-judgemental, confidential, and caring group that will support you on your journey. Feel free to bring your lunch and eat while we meet. Limited to 6 participants.
